A farm labor worker has been arrested after he reportedly assaulted two co-workers at a camp outside of Benson.
The incident was reported around 7:00PM Saturday at the labor camp on Zack’s Mill Road. That’s when authorities allege 39 year-old Sergio Saul Pardo punched a 36 year-old worker in the face at least two times knocking out several of the victim’s teeth. Pardo then allegedly swung a knife cutting a 33 year-old man.
Both of the victims sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Pardo was arrested at the camp by Johnston County deputies and charged with two counts of felonious assault. He was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $110,000 bond.
