Suspect Linked To Counterfeit Money Passed At Businesses

A suspect accused of passing counterfeit money three times at two Cleveland area businesses this month has been arrested.

Salim Fulton Jackson, 33, of Bridge Street, Fuquay Varina was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office on six felony charges including possession of counterfeit currency and obtaining property by false pretenses.

Jackson is accused of passing the fake money twice at a flower shop and once at a car wash.

Jackson was jailed under a $100,000 bond.
