Suspects Stole Catalytic Converter From Kenly Church Van, JCSO Says

Two suspects previously linked to the theft of catalytic converters in Johnston County have now been charged with stealing a catalytic converter off a church van in Kenly.

Christopher James Creech, 39, of Covered Bridge Road, Zebulon and Jennifer Merie Gossett, 30, of Stevens Chapel Road, Smithfield are facing new charges after they were linked by Johnston County sheriff’s detectives to the October 4, 2020 theft of a catalytic converter from a van at Temple of Praise Church in Kenly.

Creech is currently being held on a $147,500 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.  Gossett is held on a $60,000 secured bond.
