Taco Bell Employee Accused Of Selling Drugs From Store, Home

An employee at a local Taco Bell has been arrested on charges he sold drugs from the business and also from his home.

JoCoReport.com has learned 35 year-old Christopher Staton Richardson of Garner was arrested June 7th following a two month undercover investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.  During the investigation, Richardson allegedly sold marijuana two times to plain clothes officers at the Taco Bell on Highway 42 near I-40 in Cleveland where he worked.

Richardson also sold marijuana twice to officers from his nearby home on N. Roundabout Drive off Glen Road, according to Captain Jeff Caldwell.

Drug agents executed a search warrant at Richardson’s home on Friday and reportedly found 48 grams of marijuana, Xanax, and a handgun.

Richardson was charged with more than a dozen felony warrants including possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana.    He was booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
