Teens Linked To Archer Lodge Car Break-Ins

Four teenagers have been linked to several car break-ins in Archer Lodge. The thefts were reported Friday morning in area of The Creeks at Millstone subdivision off Covered Bridge Road.

Johnston County deputies arrested Jaheim Ahmon Jones, 18, of Day Circle, Goldsboro and Keenan Isaiah Floyd, 18, of Lionel Street, Goldsboro and Jahlil Jaquan Merritt, 19, of Capital Boulevard, Wake Forest. They have been charged with breaking into seven vehicles and the attempted break-in of an eighth vehicle. A juvenile under age 18 is also facing charges for their alleged role.

Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said the investigation is still ongoing and additional charges have not been ruled out.

Jones was held on a $220,000 bond, Floyd $224,000 bail and Merritt $140,000 bail at the Johnston County Jail.


  1. Apparently more government freebees are needed. Poor kids must be starving. If only places were hiring at exorbitant starting wages and even offering sign on bonuses I’m sure this criminal activity would stop at once.
