Undercover Investigation Leads To Arrest

A five month undercover investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a 28 year-old Wendell man. The sheriff’s office narcotics division apprehended Jacobi Lamont Miles of Wendell Boulevard on Tuesday.

Miles had reportedly been the focus of a 5 month investigation involving the sale of crack cocaine in Johnston County.

Miles was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
