WILSON’S MILLS – A home security camera captured five people break into a Johnston County home. Authorities have identified one of the five assailants but need your help identifying the remaining four suspects.
Last Thursday, March 19th at 7:50am a singlewide mobile home on Jones Court in Wilson’s Mills was broken into by five suspects who stole multiple items, including a medium-sized household safe containing cash and jewelry.
Wilson’s Mills Police Chief A.Z. Williams said officers identified 33 year-old Alexandra “Alex” Michelle Smith (aka Alexandra Zaatar) as one of the suspects. Smith has connections to Four Oaks and Kenly, but could be anywhere in Johnston, Wayne or Wake County. Smith was observed in the home security video walking around the mobile home minutes prior to the break-in. Several minutes later she can be seen walking up the rear steps of the deck entering the residence. Two males and a female also enter the residence. An unidentified person can be seen on video driving the SUV towards a rear door of the mobile home. This individual enters the residence a few minutes later carrying multiple items. All 5 suspects then leave the scene in a silver SUV. The entire burglary and theft lasted 9 minutes.
Chief Williams says officers need help locating Alexandra Smith and assistance identifying the remaining four individuals.
