Wilson’s Mills Police Seek Information On Car Break-Ins  

WILSON’S MILLS – The Wilson’s Mills Police Department is seeking information leading to the identification and arrest of those involved in a rash of automobile break-in’s in the Wilson’s Mills area.  Since January, at least 11 vehicles have been entered during early morning hours.

Police Chief A.Z. Williams said the incidents appear to largely be crimes of opportunity since only one incident involved a broken window; the rest were unlocked doors.  The stolen items range from work tools and cigarettes to a cell phone, wallet, and change.

Chief Williams asks residents to be vigilant about their property and to always secure their vehicles, especially during evening and early morning hours.  Anyone with information that could help Wilson’s Mills Police Department solve the car break-ins is asked to call 919-938-3885.
