A Selma woman was arrested during a traffic stop on Highway 301 near the Selma police station Thursday morning.
A Johnston County deputy was on patrol around 10:30am and stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation about 3 blocks from the police station.
The driver, 28 year-old Lisa Marie Parker of Broughton Lane, reportedly did not have a license. She later failed a sobriety test.
During a search of her car one gram of suspected heroin was found.
Parker was charged with driving while impaired and possession her heroin. She was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $20,000 bond.
