BENSON – A 46 year-old woman was seriously injured Friday morning after being shot then run over by a car. The incident was reported at 2:46am at a home in the 500 block of West Watson Road.
The victim was rushed by ambulance to WakeMed with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded and detectives are currently investigating the assault.
No additional details have been released.
