Woman With 3 Year-Old Child Caught Shoplifting At Walmart

Police in Smithfield arrested a 30 year-old woman on several charges after responding to Walmart at 1299 N. Brightleaf Boulevard. At 2:40pm Friday, July 9th, officers were dispatched to a shoplifting incident.

Officers allege Alexis Chantel Zingler of Berea Church Road, Four Oaks had attempted to shoplift $190.06 in health and beauty products. Zingler had a 3 year-old child with her at the time.

After being detained, police said they seized a small amount of suspected heroin and meth from Zingler.

She was charged with misdemeanor child abuse, felony possession of heroin and felony possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000.

A police spokesperson said the 3 year-old was turned over to the custody of a family member. The Johnston County Department of Social Services was also notified about the incident.

  1. Send her to San Francisco where she and her offspring can each steal up to $950 worth of products per store per day without fear of police interdiction. Neither can the shop owner do anything. Which is why Target and Walgreens have closed all their stores in the Bay Area. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

It’s a freaking fire sale. She’ll fit right in there.
