Dunn Police are investigating the case of a woman who was found dead inside a car at Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital’s emergency room entrance.
Officers were called to the scene at 11:47 a.m Sunday.
The woman’s cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner upon the completion of an autopsy, according to a release from the Dunn Police Department. The name of the victim was being withheld Sunday pending next of kin notification.
There is no evidence to suggest that there is a threat to the community, officers advised in the release.
