Saturday’s Powerball drawing produced a $1 million win for someone who bought a ticket at a grocery store in Harnett County.
The lucky winner bought the ticket at the Food Lion on Buffalo Lake Road in Harnett County. The ticket matched all numbers on the five white balls, 2-29-41-45-62, in the drawing. The win beat odds of 1 in 11,688,054.
The winner has 180 days from the drawing to claim the prize.
The $1 million prize was one of two won in Saturday’s drawing nationally and a ticket sold in the U.S. Virgin Islands won $2 million. No one won Saturday’s jackpot. The jackpot will climb to $181 million as an annuity or $112.1 million cash for Wednesday’s drawing.
