BENSON – One person was shot and two others injured during an incident at a Benson bar. Police said they were called to the Big Time Bar & Grill at 1407 North Wall Street around 8:28pm Friday.
Officers arrived to find three victims, including one male suffering from a gunshot wound stemming from an altercation between patrons and staff.
The gunshot victim was transported to Wake Medical Center for his injuries where he remains at this time. The two other victims were treated at the scene
Benson Police called the altercation an “isolated incident.”
The investigation is ongoing. At last report no charges had been filed.
