12 Year-Old Among Three Charged In Business Break-Ins

CLAYTON – On Tuesday, August 27, Clayton Police arrested Isaiah Jareek Fields, 26, of Clayton and charged him with felonious breaking and entering.

Clayton Police believe he is responsible for a business break-in that occurred at Venero’s Pizza, located at 9973 US Hwy 70 Business, on Sunday, August 25. No items were determined to be missing. An alarm activated inside the business at the time of the break-in likely startling the intruder.

Fields was placed in the Johnston County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond.

Also, on Sunday, August 25 at approximately 10:07 PM, Clayton Police responded to a breaking and entering in progress at the Gold-N-Pawn, located at 10278 US 70 Business West.

Officers discovered two people fleeing the area and after a brief pursuit, were able to apprehend both subjects in the 200 block of Boling Street. Cameron Sanderson, 22, of Clayton was arrested on multiple charges including attempted breaking and entering, larceny, first-degree trespassing, and resisting arrest. He was placed under an $8,000 secured bond.

A 12-year-old juvenile from Clayton was also apprehended and is facing charges in juvenile court.

  1. That waste of oxygen on the right, Sanderson, can be seen hanging out with middle school aged boys in front of the beauty supply store at the plaza by cobblestone. He needs to be kept away from kids, PERIOD. What a shame to see him getting young boys in trouble, and shame on the neglectful parents that aren’t checking what their TWELVE-year-old sons are out doing. Not sure what’s wrong with that neighborhood cobblestone, but it’s endless problems over there.

  2. But they keep complaining about illegals… the fact is (per FBI and DOJ data), more than 87% of all crime is committed by US citizens. You sheep are kept in fear, making you easier to control, while those in power do nothing to stop the REAL criminals. #VoteOutIncumbents #PersonNotParty

    • The fact that 13% of the crime in America is committed by illegal residents is definitely still a problem we shouldn’t have.

      • @John: So let’s scare the sheep into worrying about the 13% instead of thr 87%. And we wonder why things don’t get better despite spending billions? They’ve got you all fooled.

    • Illegals are a huge problem and burden. They don’t keep all the stats of their crimes. Many cities don’t participate in that. We are overwhelmed by Biden and Harris letting in 15 million people in 4 years. The shelters are overcrowded in Denver, Houston, NYC, Chicago, etc. crime is rampant from illegals in those areas. Don’t pretend it’s not true. There’s a way to come here and it’s not being a border buster. Many are good people looking for better jobs. More money. Many are not. Drive around Selma and walk around the schools and it’s Central America.

      • Illegals are a FRACTION of the problem. But they’ve got the sheep like you worrying about the 13%, meanwhile the 87% doesn’t get mentioned. Look at the shelters here in JoCo: almost 90% are US citizens, and 71% are native NC citizens. But keep believing the “leaders.”

  3. Can you old hags please just shut up about illegals on articles that have nothing to do with it? You’re not going to change anything, so stop wasting the last breathes you have left. So aggravating that you bring nothing to the table ever.

    • Lol. Old hags. Dang son. I was more concerned with the whole 12 year old thing. The real PROBLEM is grown men coercing younger “men” (once you start committing crimes like that you need to be treated like an adult since you want to act like one) into a life of crime.
