$12,225 In Property Stolen During Break-In

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential break-in near Selma where $12,225 in property was stolen.  The burglary was discovered on Jan. 16th at a home on Rains Crossroads Road.

The victim said between Jan. 12 and 16th while they were away from their residence, someone forced entry into the home and garage. The suspect or suspects stole a gun safe, nine guns, 600 rounds of ammunition, power tools, wrench set, gas grill, air compressor and a Toro zero turn mower.

A detective has been assigned to the case.
