$12,673 In Items Stolen During Break-In

A large amount of property was stolen during a break-in reported last Monday outside of Kenly. Johnston County deputies responded to a break-in on Rhodes Road.

While the victim was away from home between 7:40am and 12:50pm that day, someone forcibly entered their residence and stole a large amount of jewelry and electronics. Among the items taken were two flat screen TV’s, watches, and boots.

A $5,000 ring and $3,500 bracelet were among the items stolen.

A total of $12,673 in property was reported stolen. The case has been assigned to the detectives division.
