A 13 year-old student at a Johnston County middle school could face charges after allegedly being caught with marijuana on school grounds.
The incident was reported Friday morning at Swift Creek Middle on Norris Road outside of Clayton.
WTSB News has learned administrators and a school resource officer were questioning the 13 year-old when the juvenile allegedly removed a small baggie from his pants containing the suspected marijuana.
The incident remains under investigation. The student could face charges in juvenile court.
