A church van overturned on Interstate 40 near Benson around 8:45am Saturday, injuring 15 people.
The accident involved a van from the Holy Ground Place Temple in Raleigh.
The van was traveling eastbound when it apparently went into the median and overturned into the westbound lanes. Westbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for more than an hour.
Officials believe a tire on the van blew out causing the driver to lose control.
Fifteen people were transported to area hospitals. Only one of the injuries was said to be serious.
