Program is currently registering cadets for fall semester
Sixteen students graduated from Johnston Community College’s Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program on May 4, 2019.
The 17-week certification program is designed to give students essential skills required for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments with private enterprise.
The following students earned their BLET certification: Christopher Keon of Four Oaks; Haley Gilmore of Clayton; Morgan McKinney of Benson; Antonio Castaneda of Goldsboro; Travis Hollomon of Clayton; James Kofahl of Goldsboro; Sean McGovern of Selma; Justin Johnson of Clayton; Zachary Finch of Benson; Jacob Schlieman of Lillington; Bailey Tart of Angier; Christopher Eason of Dunn; Dawson Bowen of Selma; Austin Hillis of Kenly; Jose Perez-Apodaca of Wendell; and Jewel Black of Cary.
