MEADOW COMMUNITY – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office STAR Team and detectives division executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning. Around 6:00am, agents descended on a dilapidated single wide mobile home on Denn Field Lane, off Holy Grove Road in the Meadow community.
Eighteen year-old Tray’vian Brown was taken into custody on Denn Field Lane and later charged with murder.

Brown is accused of fatally shooting 57 year-old Emmanuel Kwame Gbedbee of Durham, a Uber driver. Gbedee was found shot to death in his car, around 1:06am Sunday, on Holly Grove Road near Godwin Lake Road.
On the night of the murder, the victim was working as an Uber driver and is believed to have picked up Tray’vian Brown in the area of Holly Grove Road. Gbedee was found deceased in his vehicle a short distance from the location he reportedly picked up Brown.

Sheriff’s Major Jeff Caldwell said the victim had no association to the suspect prior to picking him up as an Uber driver. A motive for the murder is still unknown.
Tray’vian Brown is currently being held in the Johnston County Jail without bond.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Office and NC State Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the investigation, which remains ongoing.

One month ago ,at night I was driving for Uber , they lock my account because a young lady reported to me for not respect.
But I say maybe God doesn’t want this job for me again.
Always we follow GPS instruction for pickup location and dropping location, my GPS shows me the dropping location and she was telling me it’s not here follow my direction and I show her the GPS confirmation she didn’t want listen to me and I was scared. she reported that to UBER .
It’s not easy to give ride to someone you never know even they pay you.
As Tragic as this is instead of everyone tearing down this boy we are told by God to still Pray for Him. My Cuz was kidnapped, raped and Murdered while at College over 17 years ago. We had to Identify her body but through the pain, anger we had to remember the Word of God….Pray for your Enemies….Many people are not raised in this hour with Integrity, Morals or Compassion for Human Life because of what they been through or are facing or how they been raised…..even though it doesn’t give anyone an excuse to feel or have a right to take anyone else’s life…Living a life of Disobedience and Rebellion will cause you to do and act in ways you shouldn’t.

This Punk will be back on the streets in 30 years. The mother should be charged the father if there’s one listed on the birth certificate should be charged as well but he’s probably already locked up. So typical and I’m so sick of seeing news like this it’s disgusting, disturbing and disrespectful
