BENSON – Detectives are investigating a residential break-in near Benson where a large amount of property was reportedly taken. The break-in was discovered June 24th at a home in the 12000 block of Highway 210, not far from Interstate 40.
The victim had been away from his home for four days. When he returned, he discovered his back door was open and numerous items missing. A shotgun, rifle, silver coins, electronic video game system, laptop computer, iPhone, and two safes were among the items stolen.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
