After four months of regular season baseball, 240 players, 258 practices, 150 games and an end-of-season tournament to crown the winners, 38 of Clayton Little League’s top players have been selected from 18 teams to form the Clayton Little League 2019 Machine Pitch, Minors and Majors All Star Teams.
The teams will travel to Wilson, NC to represent Clayton Little League in the District 6 All Star Tournament. They will compete against eight other leagues.
Since making the teams, the players and coaches have worked nearly every day to improve their fielding, hitting and pitching.
The Wilson tournament is the first step in the “Road to Williamsport” the culmination of the tournament that will crown the World Champion in the largest youth sports organization in the world.
Depending on the division, if the teams win at the district level they will advance to State and then Regional levels before they can advance to Williamsport.
