3 Charged With Operating Meth Lab

Clifton-Taylor-Pattison-Mugshots-FIThe Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of three individuals arrested Friday after a methamphetamine lab was discovered on Church Road near McGee’s Crossroads.

Narcotics Captain A.C. Fish said an active meth lab was located at the residence.

Mark Wayne Clifton, 55, Christopher John Taylor, 29, and Kayla Carlene Pattison, 26, all of 410 Church Road, Benson were charged with manufacturing meth, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, felony conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possess-distribute meth precursors. 

The investigation also led to a second meth lab in Harnett County, according to Captain Fish.
