  1. Good job to the JCSO and Raleigh Police. More junk off the streets that kills. I just hope the children are placed in a safe place.

    • It sold in 2020 for a bit over $275,400. For Clayton back then I don’t think that was overly expensive but for elsewhere in the county it would have been – in 2020. I have seen nicer looking homes for that price but I am only seeing the outside of the one making news.

Drugs are in rich , middle class and poor neighborhoods. For anyone thinking different – turn off your lying right wing entertainment network.

Hope the children will be put in a better family environment and will be okay in the long run.

      • I agree that drugs are in all neighborhoods. My argument was that the JoCo report called this an upscale neighborhood just because it is in Flower-ville. Becky sold out to track builders long ago and any hope of being upscale left with the custom builders she had in the beginning. Even then “upscale” was a stretch for that area. Maybe upscale for JoCo but not for most people.

    • I’m sure they are probably paying upscale prices to live amongst the royalty of the plantation. People in Red Hill are probably be taxed out of their homes over there.

      • There are tax breaks for olde, disabled and other instances. I once got a tax break because my home had a fuse box. These are listed on the back of the property tax bills – you just have to look and read the back of the page. Took me years to realize this….

        • The property tax breaks for elderly have maximum income limitations, so it’s really meant for people of low income – not like most people living in Flowers Plantation homes.

    • Former Joco Res…. You go price a house in Flowers Plantation and the tell us that aint upscale

    • Interesting thought as no single foundation determines whether a home is upscale, cheap, etc. In fact, my in-laws live in an upscale $M custom home, built on a slab by design. I love visiting their home – one step to the front porch. It’s great! No handrails required!

  2. Drugs are everywhere, even the best of the best have their hands in the distribution of drugs; some are heavy users.
It’s just sad that this has happened. My heart goes out to Tasheuna Dane Lee and her children. My prayer is that she’ll get through this and that her children will be safely kept.

  3. Tired of the influx of drugs with the increase in population in this county. I feel for those children – thank goodness they were rescued.
