3 Hurt In Collision

The intersection of Jack Road and Ranch Road near Clayton was shut down Wednesday after two vehicles collided at the intersection at 11:17am, sending one vehicle into a utility pole, snapping the pole at its base. 

Three people were injured in the crash and transported to the hospital by Johnston County EMS.    

The NC Highway Patrol is investigating. A Duke Energy power crew was sent to the scene to replace the broken utility pole.
