3 Injured In Serious Crash

A serious accident Friday night sent three youths to Wake Medical Center.
It happened on Covered Bridge Road near City Road in Clayton. A full size truck ran off the roadway, struck a deep ditch, then two trees.

Clayton Police are still investigating the accident and have not released the names of those involved.

Emergency workers said a Gideon New Testament Bible was found on the cab floor of the truck.  Photos by John Payne
