3 Store Clerks Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minor
Clerks at three Selma businesses have been cited for selling alcohol to a minor. Selma Police Captain R.L. Daniels said an undercover operation was conducted Friday.
Selma Police sent a person under age 21 into 18 different businesses that sell alcoholic beverages. Of the 18 businesses, clerks at three of the businesses sold alcohol to the minor.
The businesses included the Johnston County ABC Store on South Pollock Street, the Shell Station on US 70, and the Handee Hugo BP. The clerks that sold to the minor were cited on the scene, Captain Daniels said.
