Four cars were reported stolen overnight Monday from a storage facility on Church Road near McGee’s Crossroads outside of Benson.
The vehicles included a 2009 Toyota, 2004 Honda, 2013 Hyundai and a 2011 Dodge with a combined value of $50,000.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said two of the stolen vehicles were recovered Tuesday. Both were found in Harnett County.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said a fence to the storage lot was cut to make entry and to open the gate, and the keys to all four vehicles were stolen from a lock box.
Authorities are following up on leads in the case.
