4-H Club Raises $4,000 For Ryder Wells Benefit Fund

Johnston County 4-H Shooting Sports Club recently raised $4000 for the Ryder Wells Benefit Fund as their annual community service project.  The club partnered with Clayton Guns, the Cleveland Fire Department, Hinson’s Printing, Imagine That! Graphic Arts, and other community members to sell raffle tickets for a $1000 shopping spree at Clayton Guns.

The Ryder Wells Benefit Fund was initiated by Charlie Carden of Charlie’s BBQ in the Cleveland community.  Ryder Wells, age 4, was mauled by two dogs and to date has had 42 surgeries.  Mr Carden’s goal is to raise $80,000 by December 25, 2018.  Donations can be mailed to Charlie and Kim Carden,  PO Box 157, Clayton NC 27528.
