Johnston County school officials discovered four mobile classrooms at River Dell Elementary School were broken into over-the-weekend.
Vice Principal James Parrish reported Monday the break-ins occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning at the school located at 12100 Buffalo Road, Clayton.
Someone pried open doors to the mobile units then discharged fire extinguishers inside.
