Four people were sent to the hospital with injuries following a two car accident shortly after 3:00pm Saturday.

Emergency workers responded to the collision at the intersection of Highway 42 and Highway 96 outside of Selma.

The Highway Patrol said a Buick traveling northbound on Highway 96 had stopped for a stop sign but pulled into the path of a Volvo traveling westbound on Highway 42.
