4 Seriously Injured In Crash

Four people were seriously injured in a single vehicle accident Sunday afternoon near Four Oaks.

The wreck was reported on Hummingbird Road at Wade Road.  A pickup truck ran off the roadway and collided with a tree.

All four occupants in the truck were seriously hurt. They were taken by Four Oaks EMS and Johnston County EMS ambulances to Wake Medical Center in Raleigh for treatment.  The Four Oaks Fire Department responded and assisted with extrication of the victims.

The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. As of Monday, an accident report had not been completed. Photos courtesy JoCoFire.com
