The Johnston County Workforce Development Center in Clayton will be getting a makeover.
The 4,800 square foot training facility provides an adaptive flexible space to replicate biomanufacturing area mockup configurations for customized training programs. The Research & Training Zone (RTZ) advisory board which oversees the training facility recently requested Johnston County Commissioners approve $400,000 in funds for the project.
The RTZ is a self-funded taxing district with the tax rate currently set at 8 cents.
