WENDELL – Numerous emergency vehicles responded to a two vehicle traffic accident Tuesday night. The accident was reported on Wendell Road in northern Johnston County.
There were a total of five children in the two vehicles. All the children were treated at the scene by Johnston County EMS. At least one child was transported to the hospital. All the injuries were minor.
Wendell Road was closed in both directions until the scene could be cleared.
The State Highway Patrol is investigating.
