The Johnston County Board of Education has approved 5 new assistant principals for Johnston County Schools.
Christina C. Ferrell, who had been a third grade teacher at West View Elementary School has been named an assistant principal at Cleveland Middle School. Donna Moore, an assistant principal intern at West View Elementary has been named assistant principal at Four Oaks Elementary.
Shannon R. Sellers is the new assistant principal at Cleveland High. She had previously worked for the NC Department of Public Instruction. Larkeysha M. Sheppard has been a Business and Information Technology teacher at Princeton School. She is now the assistant principal at Princeton Middle/High School. And John E. Waters, who had been an assistant principal intern at Goldsboro High has been hired as the assistant principal at North Johnston High School.
All the assistant principals were given two year contracts through 2017.
Also, Cynthia D. Anderson was given a two year contract in the Central Office as Transition Coordinator.
