6 Car Break-Ins Reported In Subdivision

CLEVELAND – Six vehicles were broke into early-Saturday morning in the Cleveland Springs subdivision off Glen Road.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said all six vehicles had been left unlocked. Residents on Callahan Trail, Glenn Creek Court, and Horizon Trail reported someone had rummaged through their vehicles.

The only item reported taken was a portable speaker stolen from one vehicle. The speaker was valued at $300.

Authorities encourage vehicle owners to keep your cars locked at all times, even in the driveway of your own home.

No arrests have been made but the case remains under investigation.
