Six people sustained injuries, including one person who was seriously injured, following a four car accident Saturday night on Highway 50 South of Benson.
The driver of a red Jeep reportedly pulled from a private driveway onto Highway 50 into the path of a white pickup pulling a boat on a trailer. Two other vehicles were also involved.
The driver of the pickup sustained serious injuries. All the other injuries were minor.
The NC Highway Patrol is still investigating. Alcohol may have played a factor. Photos by John Payne
