Benson Police have arrested 5 of 8 suspects following an undercover narcotics investigation. The operation resulted in 20 felony charges against the eight suspects.
Police said the operation was the result of complaints from citizens about illegal drug sales in the Town of Benson.
On Wednesday, police announced the arrests of:
Brandon Bilbry, 25, of E. Dixon Drive, Benson – sell and delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of an educational facility ($40,000 bond)
Jordan Turner, 27, S. Whittington Street, Benson – maintaining a dwelling for sale of a controlled substance ($5,000 bond)
Daisy Garcia, 48, S. Whittington Street, Benson – maintaining a dwelling for sale of a controlled substance ($20,000 bond)
Linda Martinez, 36, E. Benton Street, Benson – sell and delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of an educational facility; conspiracy to sell/deliver a controlled substance ($100,000 bond)
Sabrina Guin, 52, Carpenter Drive, Four Oaks – possession with intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance; maintaining a vehicle for sale of a controlled substance ($20,000 bond)
Benson Police did not release the names of the remaining three suspects still being sought by officers.
