Grab Your Sneakers And Your Furry Friend For A 5K
SELMA – The Town of Selma will host the 9th Annual Polar Bear Run on Saturday, January 25th at 10AM. Runners must check-in by 9:45AM at 201 N Webb Street, Selma.
Registration is open now at Polar Bear 5K Run. Early bird registration will end on January 13th. Participants can still register on the day of the event at an increased rate. As always, pets run for free. Participants that register by January 13th will receive a free event t-shirt and
special treat for participating pets.
The Polar Bear Run is held to support Bailey’s Human Rescue, a local organization on a mission to eradicate the unnecessary overpopulation and euthanization of domesticated animals. Donations are welcome and appreciated. Immediate needs include dog & cat food, clumping litter, and laundry soap.
Top male and female finishers will be awarded in multiple groups including children, eight different adult age groups, and pets too.
Runners and guests will have the opportunity to grab a bite to eat and make a visit to downtown shops while they “cool” down.
