Abby Stephens Takes The Stage October 20

Abby-StephensBenson native Abby Stephens has been chosen to open for a breast cancer awareness and celebration of women event on October 20th at the A.J. Fletcher Theater in Raleigh. This event is hosted by 93.9 Radio and Amy from the Bobby Bones Show. Other performers will include Jana Kramer, Cam, Mickey Guyton, Lauren Alaina (American Idol contestant), and Clare Dunn.

Abby Stephens discovered her love for music at age seven and began voice and piano lessons. She soon found she enjoyed putting her thoughts to music. With the help of her mom, she penned her first song, “Carolina Girl.” At eight years old she won the title of Clayton Idol Junior and has opened for artists such as Amanda Daughtry at Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre.

Tickets for the October 20th event are $15.00 and are on sale now. All proceeds will benefit Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day.
