Selma location will create 60 new jobs

SELMA – Academy Sports + Outdoors, a leading full-line sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer whose mission is to provide “Fun for All,” will open its first store in Selma, NC in October 2024. Located at 501 Saint Mark Avenue in the Eastfield development, the over 63,000 square foot store brings a wide assortment of sports and outdoors merchandise to the area. This marks Academy’s 17th location in North Carolina.

The new Academy Sports + Outdoors store will carry a wide assortment of sports and outdoors products for customers to choose from to kickstart their fun.   1. I’m glad they are here. Finally some close sporting goods store. Fishing and camping YAY!! So glad they are here. Those who don’t like it, keep driving, Dicks and others are at White Oak.
