A busy Johnston County intersection was the scene of a serious two car collision Sunday afternoon. It happened on Highway 42 East of Clayton at Buffalo Road.
A black passenger car and silver passenger car collided at the intersection.
Five ambulances were dispatched to the scene along with the Thanksgiving Fire Department.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the cause.
