CLAYTON – Heavy traffic delays were reported Friday afternoon due to a traffic accident at the intersection of NC 42 East and Buffalo Road.
The 5:40pm accident involved two vehicles.
A total of three adults and two children were in the vehicles. Johnston County EMS evaluated everyone at the scene but no one required transport to the hospital.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, State Highway Patrol, and North Side Fire Department responded.
Emergency crews responded to a two vehicle crash at the same intersection Friday morning.
I feel an idiotic roundabout is in the future for this intersection. People just need to be mindful of others and stop being so impatient. The world does not revolve around any of us.
