  1. Senseless tragedy that cost 4 lives, has broken 4 families, affected countless friends, horrified numerous first responders. My heart goes out to anyone who has been affected by this unbelievable event.

    • I suppose you were perfect as a teenager. I know that I wasn’t and it was but for the grace of God that none of us were harmed when I was growing up. Teens are not fully developed and yet we hand them the keys to cars and wonder why they make risky decisions.

There are only victims here. No malice, just kids being kids and getting the short straw.

  2. Not all thoughts should become public comments. Please show some respect for this mourning family. They are well aware of the circumstances and do not need additional condemnation or sattire.

    • Perhaps if the family *had been aware* of what these minors were doing driving 100 MPH at 2:30am they wouldn’t be mourning now. #BeResponsible #Parents

      • Spoken like someone who doesn’t have kids. Some families have four or five kids and three or four turn out perfect and one is the black sheep. Kids aren’t clay that you mold into what you want. And teens make foolish decisions and parents pray their kids don’t but can’t know it all.

I used to go to “the midnight movie” and then we went out partying late. They trusted me and I was a teen that didn’t follow the rules.

Compassion is such a better look than blamethrowing in a situation like this.

    • Truth! Sad story, kids are given so much responsibility at such a young age and we are saddened when they make serious mistakes like this. It is terrifying.
