JOHNSTON COUNTY – On August 30, 2024, the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) Division conducted an enforcement operation in Johnston County, resulting in multiple arrests and seizures. ALE special agents executed search warrants at two businesses — Prime Vape and Tobacco, located at 5533 NC 42 East and Cleveland Vape and Tobacco, located at 11007 Cleveland Road, Garner.
The operation followed a complaint alleging illegal activities at these locations. Agents said the investigation revealed evidence of illegal drug sales at both stores. During the searches, ALE officers seized over five pounds of marijuana, illegal THC products, psilocybin mushrooms, Khat, spirituous liquor, drug paraphernalia, and $8,630 in U.S. currency.

- Two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana

- Four counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school or daycare
- Two counts of felony maintaining a business to keep and/or sell drugs

ALE agents have the authority to arrest and take investigatory action throughout North Carolina. Their primary responsibility is the enforcement of Alcoholic Beverage Control, tobacco, state lottery and gambling laws.
Good job.
I contacted the county and school board, but the place still stayed open on Cleveland rd., garner. No one I contacted did anything, just ignored me. This business is pretty close to schools, and wish it would close.
Based on this article, they did something…²
They need to close down all these stores… get back to God and his moral principles.
Sounds like you need to go live in one of the Middle Eastern countries where their world and life is based on their religion . America has never been that country – all here are free to choose whether they want go worship/believe in any god – or not. You may do as you choose but others do not need to believe as you do.
Thank you for your comment. My thoughts exactly 💯
Why is this store on Cleveland Road shut down and the door padlocked. Now I understand why we have been having so many problems in the area. Just being close to the school should have meant lock the doors. KEEP THE CHILDREN SAFE! If it was the JCSO this place would have been gone.
Keep letting people know on this site, that you know nothing.
Wow, you are the great know it all and all must bow to the great Sorrynotsorry because you are the great know it all and no one else has the right to have an opinion even though this is America. Thanks for setting me straight.
So they arrested them for THCa weed and those fake mushrooms? Good job ALE wasting taxpayers money. Why not go after actual criminals in the area that are selling fentanyl and opioids.
Why are we arresting people for marijuana? Even the great President DJT came out in support of weed. Free these people. Free market!
Let me get this straight, Mohamed was selling drugs in North Carolina?
Not understanding why the Feds would raid these people, but allow entire States to ignore federal law when it comes to certain drugs.
NC ALE is a *state* agency. There were no federal agents involved.
Don’t try. Brett knows all.
The ALE should take a look at the North Carolina State Board of Elections, they must be drunk. They have chosen to deny Kennedy’s withdrawal from the election and also opened the door for voter fraud by allowing digital college IDs as proof of residence and citizenship!! At least the three (dem) members must be. Mindless zombies.
Where did a 21 year old get the $$$ to own two stores?
Maybe Daddy left him $40million and he is a good businessperson and has not bankrupted multiple business opportunities….
Or maybe Daddy is a wealthy mid western oilman….
Or he could have been a poor kid whose parents were killed in a wreck or some tragic event and he got a huge lump sum of money. …
Lots of other reasons too of course…
Is it the money or the name/color of his skin that has you asking?
Back in the day when I was that age, there were some kids of rich joco people that owned very expensive things as well……. if you have been around here long enough you know the names…..
Just like my first landlord who now has a 17/18 year old son driving a brand new pick up truck, his daughter owns her own business – she might be 22/23…..
@Leighlah, you must be a complete barrel of fun in real life. NOT. Every time you present on here YOU bring up race. People have opinions or thoughts just as you do. STOP trying to force your race card on everyone. Quite frankly, it’s getting old. I sincerely doubt you are the Mother Teresa you want us all to believe.
Critical thinking skills not your strong point?
And, I don’t do parties – never been my thing. I have a small group of friends but we are all old and don’t get out much anymore. I am actually quite witty and fun once I am around most people.
I do not know much about Morher Teresa except what was ever in the news. But I have not now or have ever said I was a saint. A good person – yes. Have I done stupid stuff – yes. Did I learn from my mistakes – yes. Do I lie, cheat or steal – no. Think of me what you like – I am like Rhett and just don’t give a ****
Thanks for the next topic to read up on though – one can never stop learning – and everything I learn about her will hopefully enrich my life. Want to start a book club so we can educate ourselves together?
@leighlah, NOTHING AT ALL in ANY of your comments past or present have required any CRITICAL thinking on anyone’s part. It does not require critical thinking to see your race baiting on every comment.
No, I do not care to participate in any “book club” with you as I feel I’d be super bored waiting for you to just catch up. I’m a level IV Critical Care Registered Nurse and am quite pleased with my critical thinking skills. Advice, when you decide to crack open your first/next book don’t skip pages to get to the drawings….actually read the book. Blessings.
@whatnow – I read or listen to an audiobook every single week. I am educated as well. Race baiting is not my thing but you apparently gloss over the subtle and also not so subtle words that people type in their responses. Also I didn’t respond to Tony’s not so subtle bigotry in his remarks. People like him are too far gone to try and have a discussion with. With Allen I out and out asked because it was unclear (to me) his motivate/intention. I know some young people who have money – and I know many more that do not. My responses to why Mohammed could have money had nothing to do with race and could apply to his situation without even knowing his name.
Also thank you for your work that you do. I know dozens of nurses and a handful of doctors and other adminstrstors in the medical field. Most agree that nurses are the people who truly run the facilities and I do agree. While I love and respect my doctor friends, most would be lost without the nurses that make their profession easier.
