Amber Outen Straley has joined KS Bank as Relationship Manager of the Four Oaks retail office. She will be responsible for all branch operations and personnel as well as growing deposits and loans in the Four Oaks market area.
Straley has worked in the financial industry since 2007 as a Retail Banking Officer, Assistant Credit Analyst, Risk Management Assistant, and Loan Processor. Harold Keen, President/CEO, said “Amber is from Johnston County originally and is well connected to the area. Her past work experience brings a wealth of knowledge in banking as well as customer relationship development. She will be an asset to the Four Oaks community as well as to KS Bank.”
Straley graduated from East Carolina University in 2006. She completed the North Carolina Bankers Association Banking School in 2017 which is a four year program dedicated to expanding the skills and abilities of middle managers and prospective managers. She and her husband, Chris, live in Smithfield with their two children. Amber’s parents, Pete and Amy Outen, live in Smithfield as well.
Straley is currently a member of the Central Johnston County Rotary and she is chairman of the annual Rotary Club Golf Tournament. Currently she is a member of the board for Partnership for Children. Straley also serves as a member of the Finance Committee and a member of the board of directors for Mother’s Morning Out Program at Centenary United Methodist Church. Her involvement with the Smithfield-Selma Chamber includes membership in the Chamber Women’s Business Network (CWBN).
