Archer Lodge Recognizes Girl Scouts

The Archer Lodge Town Council and Mayor Matt Mulhollem recognized the Girl Scouts organization during their regularly scheduled monthly meeting held on March 4th.

The Town approved a Proclamation naming the week of March 10th – 16th as Girl Scout Week in the Town of Archer Lodge.

Girl Scouts was founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low whose life mission was to build girls of courage, confidence, and character and through her legacy continues to have an extraordinary influence on the lives of millions of girls across the country.  Today, more than 50 million American women are Girl Scouts from alumnae and 2.6 million girls and adult volunteers are active members.
