An arrest has been made in the robbery of the Garner Station Boulevard branch of Four Oaks Bank and Trust Company.
Jamie Truette Smith, 27, of Raleigh was arrested Friday in Lebanon, New Hampshire after fleeing from authorities in North Carolina. Smith is charged by Garner Police with common law robbery for the Jan. 18 robbery at Four Oaks Bank and Trust.
Smith reportedly presented a note to the teller then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said Smith’s arrest was a joint effort between Garner Police, Raleigh Police, Clayton Police, Hartford, Vermont Police, and the Lebanon, New Hampshire Police Departments.
Smith was located in a condominium in Lebanon, NH. He is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
