ANGIER – A 45 year-old Apex man has been charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Jonathan Pierce Phelps was arrested October 9 following an investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
On September 20 around 2:26pm, deputies were summoned to a home on Allison Circle, Angier, in western Johnston County, for a stabbing.
Authorities said a 35 year-old man was engaged in a verbal altercation with Phelps, an acquaintance, when Phelps allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the shoulder area.
The victim was treated and released at the hospital.

Ugh…. I can see how some may believe that there were two stabbings. This is not the case. He was arrested on charges stemming from the September 20th incident. All the caps in the world won’t change this fact.
I can’t see how he thought there were two stabbings. It states clearly in the article when the stabbing occurred. What happened is he let his emotions get the better of him before posting. I like how people think just because someone is arrested it keeps them off the street when in reality most people make bail fairly quickly and then are back on the streets any way.
